Paper Submission

Submission of Camera-Ready Copy

There are several relevant aspects in the process of preparing and submitting the camera-ready version. Please analyze in detail the following instructions and remarks:

• Please prepare the camera-ready copy of your paper following closely the instructions on the Springer website, at Information for LNCS Authors

. Make sure that your paper fits into 8 (EIGHT) pages without altering the standard margins, font sizes, and vertical spacing of the document template. If you are an author of multiple papers, make sure that your name is spelt consistently in all your submissions (to make sure the author index is correct).

• Please complete and sign the Springer LNCS Copyright Form (one author may sign on behalf of all the authors of a particular paper), using the following information at the top of the form:
  
  Title of the Book/Volume/Conference: ICA2009 - LNCS 5441
  Volume Editor(s): T Adali, C Jutten, J M T Romano and A K Barros

  The completed copyright form must be EITHER:
  

  • Scanned as a PDF file and included with the source files (PREFEREED)
  • Scanned as a PDF file and sent by e-mail to ica2009@dmo.fee.unicamp.br
  • Faxed to +55 19 3521 3866, with a cover sheet marked "To: Prof. Joao M. T. Romano"
  
  Please notice that if we do not receive your copyright form in time, we will not be able to include your paper in the proceedings!

• Springer requires your submission as a collection of source files, together with a PDF file for checking.

  For papers prepared using LaTeX/TeX, these would include:
  

  • LaTeX2e files for the text and PS/EPS or PDF/JPG files for all figures.
  • Any further style files and fonts you have used together with your source files and that are not generally available at CTAN.
  • Final DVI file.
  • Final PDF file (for reference).
  
  The text in your LaTeX files, DVI file and PDF file must be identical.
  Note on style files and fonts: If your are in any doubt about whether or not to include a special style file or font you have used (e.g. subeqn.sty, etc), please include it.
  

  For word-processing systems other than LaTeX/TeX, these would include:
  

  • RTF and/or DOC files
  • Final PDF file (for reference)
  
  The text in your RTF source files and the final PDF file must be identical.

• Pack your source files, together with a scanned completed copyright form (unless the form is being faxed), into either a ZIP (.zip) archive or a gzipped TAR (.tar.gz) archive. In order to upload your source files and copyright form, access the ICA2009 Paper Submission Website

Full papers may be up to 8 pages in length, including figures and references. All works should be in single-column format, using a font no smaller than 10 points (except for the abstract, in which a 9-point font may be used). Please, read carefully the instructions present in the LNCS homepage – which also contains LaTeX and Word templates – and keep in mind during paper preparation that they must be strictly followed:
