Abstract: Before the technical part of the talk, I briefly present Grenoble, and especially the University of Grenoble and its scientific environment. Then, I introduce the main principles of source separation methods. The main interest of these approaches is that it can be applied in many problems encountered with multidimensional data, e.g. obtained through a set of sensors. Finally, I present a panorama of applications, in various domains including communications, biomedical signal processing, audio and speech processing, image denoising, chemical sensor arrays, hyperspectral image analysis.
